Staging
A new menu item in WebOffice author standalone is Staging. Staging systems are test systems which represent an environment used for testing all aspects of the application system before moving it to the production system. It is strongly recommended for every customer to make use of a staging system. Staging systems are the prerequisite for establishing high quality production systems with high availability and minimized failure time.
This tab contains all configuration elements that are relevant when using a staging system in WebOffice.
Since WebOffice 10.9 R2 SP1 the WebOffice author standalone interacts much more performantly with the user management database due to a change in the database layer, so that import, export, go-live and cleanup can now be performed faster. |
