Server-Side Requirements

The following chapters show the server-side requirements for a successful installation of WebOffice 10.9 R3:
•The operating system must be a Microsoft Windows platform, since WebOffice 10.9 R3 is based on Esri ArcGIS Server.
•For managing your data we recommend the usage of a relational database management system (RDBMS), further notes in Database (optional).
•Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Server) manages and supports web based services used by WebOffice 10.9 R3.
•Esri ArcGIS Desktop (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap) must be installed on the administrative computer to create map services.
•Esri ArcSDE (optional) must be used if you want to edit data with WebOffice 10.9 R3.
•Java is used on the web application server. Java Development Kit 11 (64bit) is certified for WebOffice 10.9 R3 and is a prerequisite for the WebOffice 10.9 R3 installation on the web application server.
•Apache Tomcat is the recommended and certified servlet engine for WebOffice 10.9 R3. For WebOffice 10.9 R3 the certified version Apache Tomcat 9.0.89 must be installed on the web application server.
•Apache Tomcat Connector (optional) can be installed if you use Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) as a web server for WebOffice 10.9 R3 projects.
•Microsoft .NET Framework is a prerequisite for some WebOffice 10.9 R3 components.
•IIS (Internet Information Services) is a prerequisite for some WebOffice 10.9 R3 components.
•When optionally using GEONIS Server in combination with WebOffice , there are prerequisites to consider.
