Using the dynamic selection configuration element, object selections can be displayed using animated graphics like animated gif files. Displaying dynamic selection symbols enables the user to immediately know where to find the objects searched for because the objects are marked by animated graphic images.
Dynamic selection in WebOffice html client
Behavior of dynamic selection is configured using the dynamic selection configuration element on project configuration level (i.e. the way dynamic selections get displayed is the same for all layers in the WebOffice 10 R3 project configuration).

Print Dynamic Selection |
Include dynamic selection images in the print output. Note: For technical reasons the following order in the print output is mandatory: - ArcMap selection (on top) - markup graphics (dynamic selection symbols, measure graphics) - map Note: SynerGIS does not recommend the use of dynamic selection symbols in prints together with large selections because it will substantially increase the necessary time to create a print output. Note: WebOffice 10 R3 does not support the print of *.sfw files. |

For each Layer query configuration element, it is possible to control whether dynamic selection should be used or not.
