The DB connection information for read access is necessary for reading User Management database user role and access rights entries.

DB connection parameter

Database Connection information is needed for WebOffice in order to read user role and access rights information from the User Management database.

DB user name

Database user name to provide (read) access to the database.

Password

Password of the database user.

Note: If you use a MS Access Database as your User Management Database and an ODBC connection (System DSN) for accessing the MS Access Database with WebOffice 10 R3, then it is strongly recommended to use the System DSN configuration option displayed in the screenshot below (Set ReadOnly option to value 1). This avoids problems that would occur if User Management Admin Web and WebOffice 10 R3 concurrently access the single user MS Access Database with Read/Write access rights.
