Navigation:  Generic WebOffice Services > Publish ArcMap documents to ArcGIS Server

Open ArcCatalog, navigate to the directory where you store your map documents to be served with ArcGIS Server (<ArcGIS Server location>\ServiceDocuments) and publish the MXD files (SynMapService.mxd, SynPlotService.mxd, SynExtractService.mxd, SynePaperService.mxd) to ArcGIS Server using the ArcGIS Server management connection (ArcGIS Server node) created in the step before:

 

 

 

Using the publish wizard you can keep all default values and just press Next and finally press Finish.
