Installation > ArcGIS Server Utility (GIS Server)

Run the setup-file (on WebOffice10R3-DVD\Software\WebOffice AGS Utilities\setup.exe) and select a folder on the server (the default directory is C:\Program Files\SynerGIS\AGSUtilities), where you want to install the WebOffice AGS Utilities.

The Utility needs to be installed on the same server machine(s), where ESRI ArcGIS Server is installed and running (SOC processes), e.g. is multiple GIS server installations are used then you need to install the utility on each server.

The SynerGIS ArcGIS Server Utility is needed for performance optimized access to ArcGIS Server.

Note: If you experience troubles installing the setup you can log the installation steps using the msiexec -i installation functionality (msiexec -x for uninstall). Type msiexec in your command line window to get an overview of the logging options. E.g. install the setup with these options to get a log file with detailled information: msiexec –i <path to setup.msi> /l*v <path to create log file in>\install.log
