Under certain circumstances it can happen that when using the WebOffice plot extension author in ArcMap the following message appears when you want to work with the plot author:

 

Reason:

If on the server WebOffice author is not installed, then a GeoOffice license must be present. The license will then be issued e.g. via Network, i.e. via the server.

 

Possible solutions:

•Either WebOffice author (as ArcMap extension) on this server,

•or above the tab Network connect to a valid GeoOffice license
