Client-side Requirements
The WebOffice 10.9 SP2 clients are clients which do not require any Plugin or additional installation on the client-side and therefore makes roll out of production systems / solutions as easy as possible. The only requirement on client-side is a common browser installation. The following list of browsers and mobile Operating Systems is currently fully supported (other browsers may work too with WebOffice 10.9 SP2, but are not certified from VertiGIS).

Explanation of the supported versions

Important note when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 and Edge (Legacy): Starting with WebOffice 10.9 Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 as well as Edge (Legacy) are officially not supported anymore. VertiGIS strongly recommends to use WebOffice with an up-to-date Internet browser. Only under these conditions can it be guaranteed that the functions offered by WebOffice 10.9 SP2 can be used to the fullest customer satisfaction. |

Note for use of JavaScript based clients (e.g. WebOffice core, WebOffice flex client): For best performance, VertiGIS recommend the latest versions of modern, standards-based browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Edge (Chromium). Only WebGL-enabled browsers are supported. Due to the client-side rendering when using JSAPI, the client computer has to be able to do much more than it was the case with a classic WebOffice client, where pre-rendered map images are displayed on the client by the server. |

Usually there should be no problems with more recent browser versions, but these are not officially supported. In case of problems please contact your corresponding WebOffice Support Team.
If WebOffice 10.9 SP2 is accessed by another browser, a client-side notification can be shown.
