CAUTION! Please note the following currently applicable restrictions in the use of ArcGIS Pro based services (as opposed to ArcMap based services), which are included in the WebOffice clients: •The information whether a topic group is collapsed or expanded in the map document/map service is not available via ArcGIS REST API: oFor ArcMap based map services the information can be read via WebOffice 10.9 SP2 Server Object Extension from the MXD. oFor ArcGIS Pro based map services this option is not offered. •The print functionality of the WebOffice extensions is of limited use with ArcGIS Pro based services. Use VertiGIS Printing (optional) instead. •The basis of WebOffice ePaper reports must currently still be a layer of an ArcMap MXD-based map service. •The activation of the Server Object Extension on the SynOutputService currently does not work on ArcGIS Pro based services. •The WebOffice extract server function works with the WebOffice extensions also for ArcGIS Pro based services, but with certain restrictions: •Certain WebOffice 10.9 SP2 tools (e.g Raster Info, 3D Measure etc.) work via WebOffice Server Object Extension only against ArcObjects based map services - these are those map services which are published via ArcMap. A listing of all Server Object Extension based functionalities in WebOffice 10.9 SP2 can be found in the chapter Server Object Extension (SOE) - All functionalities. •ArcGIS Pro based services cannot read out MXD based layer files (*.lyr) as they are needed for thematic mapping. Conversely, it is not possible to read ArcGIS Pro based layer files (*.lyrx) using WebOffice SOE. |
|
•WebOffice 10.9 and 10.9 SP1 support ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.x only to a limited level and it must be clarified in advance whether the requirements can be fulfilled with an additional server. Please refer to the Special installation scenario for more details. •With WebOffice 10.9 SP2 and ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2, ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 is fully supported again. The Special Installation Scenario is not necessary in this case, since all components can be installed on a single machine (single server scenario) again. •As of WebOffice 10.9 SP2, ArcGIS versions 10.4.x and older are no longer supported. |
|
•Please also refer to the ArcGIS product life cycle of Esri for more information. •Current system requirements for ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Server can be found in the System Requirements from Esri. •For more information on the installation and configuration of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Server please go to Install ArcGIS Server on one machine or Install ArcGIS Server on multiple machines. |
During installation, you will have to provide a name and password for the ArcGIS Server account. Specifying either a local account or a domain account is possible:
•Using a local account:
Local account and password have to exist on each GIS server and be identical. If a specified local account does not exist it will be created.
•Using a domain account:
A domain account makes it easier to access data on remote systems. If a specified domain account does not exist, the installation will return an error.
Supported combinations of OS and ArcGIS Server concerning multilingual installations:
•English OS, English ArcGIS (Server and Desktop)
•German OS, German ArcGIS (Server and Desktop)
•German OS, English ArcGIS
