As soon as new major release is available; no further ongoing patches/hot fixes; fixes of severe or operation-impeding errors (evaluation is performed by the distributor) only if the customer provides an adequate reason not to upgrade to the next product version. |
Retired |
After about 12 months Mature-Phase; fixes for retired products are generally with costs, the evaluation of operation-impeding errors is performed by the distributor. |
