WebOffice 10.8 SP2 provides administration pages called SynAdmin that includes eleven tabs:
•Projects Tab: overview and manage all projects of the WebOffice 10.8 SP2 application
•Application Tab: perform various administrative functions regarding the application itself
•Database Connections Tab: overview any configured database connections of your WebOffice 10.8 SP2 projects
•Map Services Tab: find information about every map service used by your WebOffice 10.8 SP2 projects
•Full-Text Search Tab: see full-text search specific details and administer the creation of its subindices
•License Tab: check WebOffice 10.8 SP2 license status
•System Tab: display important information about the runtime system
•Certificates Tab: manage the SSL-certificates of the WebOffice application
•Logging Tab: manage log settings and view log file
•Statistics Tab: view and/or export statistics of the WebOffice application
•Updates Tab: access to current WebOffice updates
•Password Tab: manage the SynAdmin password
SynAdmin with opened projects tab
By default, the Projects tab is displayed when SynAdmin is called. By adding the tab parameter to the URL, it is possible to initially open the SynAdmin tab in another tab.
To do this, call the URL in the following form:
http://<servername>:<port>/<WebOfficeApplicationname>/synadmin?tab=<Tabname>
(z.B. http:///w-ws-adelpoll:8080/WebOffice106R2/synadmin?tab=license => opens the tab License im SynAdmin)
The individual tabs can be called with the following values:
oprojects => Projects
oapplication => Application
oconnections => Database connections
omapservices => Map Services
ofulltextsearch => Full text Search
olicense => License
osystem => System
otls => Certificates
olog => Logging
ostatistics => Statistics
osupport => Updates
opwd => Password
Additionally, there are buttons in the bar on top and at the bottom of the administration page.

Note: A golden rule for successfully managing a server application is NEVER ADMINISTER DURING REGULAR OPERATION TIME, i.e. you should do your administration work after users have finished their work (e.g. from 5 or 6 pm on) or before they have even started (e.g. before 7 or 8 am).
