Preparing the map documents

The ePaper Service has direct access to the map documents (.mxd). To prepare the mxds, turn off all layers in the mxd, except the layers of your basic view. If you want to view additional layers, the layers can be set to visible via the ePaper Service by using the parameter <VisibleLayers>.
