A feature map represents a selected feature in a data set. It is used in combination with a data band, and is not inserted directly into the page – you have to use a data band. Usually, a feature map is inserted into the feature map data band, but can also be inserted in the master data. More than one feature map can be part of a data band.

 

A double click on the inserted map opens the properties of the feature map. The following options can be set in the properties:

By double clicking the inserted feature map the Properties dialog is opened.
