A new menu in WebOffice author standalone is "Staging". Staging systems are test systems, which provide an environment, in which all aspects of the application can be tested, before they are in the productive system. They are a requirement for the development of high quality systems.
This tab contains all configuration elements that are relevant when using a staging system in WebOffice.

Use this button for simple staging support. This way, you can exchange map service connection parameters in your currently opened WebOffice 10.7 SP1 project very easily.

WebOffice author standalone supports synchronization of User Management Database from pre-production level (staging) to production level (production). Data will be transferred to production database and some data values (see below) will be mapped. Please be sure to describe these data mapping rules completely!
Note: This process actualizes data of UserManagement database of production system and may have an effect on the efficiency of the production system (Down time)! |

The Scenario Recover allows the user to recover a saved backup of your database. Therefore, choose the scenario Recover and click Ok. A file dialog will open, where you can browse to the backup UMDB file. |

The Scenario Export allows the user to save a backup file of your database. Therefore, choose the scenario Export and click Ok. A file dialog will open, where you can browse to the folder where you want to save the backup UMDB file. |

The Scenario Synchronize Users allows to synchronize the UserManagement Admin Web users and their passwords from a source to a target system. |

The Clean up UM-DB dialog is used to clean up specific map services or dead layers within the WebOffice usermanagement. |
