Uninstall WebOffice FTS-Index via Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features.

After uninstalling WebOffice FTS-Index it is recommended to reboot the system.

Note: This way of uninstalling is only valid from version WebOffice FTS-Index 7.4.0.76.

 

 

Note when uninstalling older versions of WebOffice FTS-Index:

With installed older versions of WebOffice FTS-Index it can happen that an uninstallation directly via Windows (e.g. under Control Panel\All Control Panel Elements\Programs and Features) is not successful.

A successful uninstallation can be performed by using the Windows command prompt CMD.

Note: It could be helpful to manually stop the SynerGIS WebOffice FTS Index service before uninstalling the WebOffice FTS-Index.

Note: Please start the Windows command prompt as administrator.

Note: The uninstallation process must be performed with the installation file, which was originally used. To do this, the installation file must be in the same path in which the file was stored during the installation. Otherwise there could be problems while uninstalling the WebOffice FTS-Index.

 

Navigate to the directory where the original installation file WebOffice_FTS-Index_Setup.msi is stored and start the setup.

 

 

 

Next the installation setup starts.

 

 

In the next window you can choose either to repair or to remove the SynerGIS WebOffice FTS Index application. Click "Remove" to remove the SynerGIS WebOffice FTS-Index from your computer.

 

 

 

Please consider that the computer has to be restarted in order to complete the uninstallation successfully.

 

 

After finishing the setup, the FTS-Index application is uninstalled.

 

Troubleshooting

Sometimes the uninstallation process cannot be completed successfully.

Please try the following workaround in this case:

 

1.Open the following URL in your Webbrowser and download this file: http://aka.ms/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

2.Execute the downloaded file

3.The Windows Assistant for program installation and uninstallation opens. Follow the further steps and select the setup for the SynerGIS WebOffice FTS-Index.

 

 

 

 

 

4.Troubleshooting can take several minutes
