Multilayer Buffer Select Tool in the WebOffice map widget

Multilayer Buffer Select Tool in the WebOffice map widget

After the tool has been activated, an object can be selected from the source layer by drawing up a polygon (red area). The buffer (green area) with the selected size is then placed around the found object. All objects that are within the buffer distance in the target layer will be selected and sorted by distance from the object in the source layer.

Note: You can only select one object at a time. If more than one object is selected, a warning appears and the process is terminated.

Note: If no buffer distance is specified, the geometry of the selected feature is used as the buffer geometry for the target layer.

Note: Source layers that have not configured the return key as a result field in a result view will not be considered for the selection and their exclusion will be logged.

To use this tool with the WebOffice map widget the following parameters are required:

Input Parameter

Description

multilayer_select_buffer_layerlist

List of source layers for the selection.

Note: An object must be selected from these layers, which will then be used as the basis for buffering.

Note: Multiple layers are passed separately with ';' or a defined 'separator' parameter.

multilayer_select_buffer_target_layer

Target layer for buffering

multilayer_select_buffer_returnkey

The values of this column are returned in the response for each object found.

Note: The selected column must exist in both the source and target layers and must contain a unique value (for example, the STRINGGUID).

Note: Source layers that have not configured the return key as a result field in a result view will not be considered for the selection.

multilayer_select_buffer_distance

The buffer distance must be given in meters.

Note: If no buffer distance is specified, the geometry of the selected feature is used as the buffer geometry for the target layer.
