Map views usually get displayed in the navigation panel of WebOffice flex (flash) client as a drop-down list but can be provided in three different ways:

•compact (default)

•expandable

•preview

 

Note that for using the expandable map views, you should not have more than five map views configured since there is limited space in the navigation panel of the WebOffice flex (flash) client.

 

 

Select preview if you want to provide previews of all configured map views. Users can immediately see what their desired map view will look like.

 

 

Note: The displayed preview is generated "live" and dependent on map scale and center of the current map.

Note: Because it is impossible in WebOffice flex (flash) client to change the visibility of a layer, visibility limits (minimum/maximum scale) can be configured for every map service. See chapter Reference to Map Service of Map Collection for details.
