If you have configured a reference-layer for topological assignment on an edit-layer, a restriction will be applied (depending on configured topological assignment). The following example shows the edit-layer „Line“ with the topological reference-layer „Polygon“ and the option single containing feature. Thereby it isn’t possible to edit/create a Line outside of a polygon-feature Polygon. A relevant message will be shown in the client.
