Tool "Select Rectangle" in the WebOffice core client

 

Activate the tool Select Rectangle to access various configuration settings in the WebOffice core client. This way, the user can choose a selection layer and selection mode.

After a selection layer has been chosen, objects can be selected by creating a rectangular bounding box. Create the bounding box with a left-mouse click, holding and moving the mouse. Whenever the mouse is released, WebOffice 10.7 SP1 selects the objects inside the box.

 

If Visible Layers is set as selection layer, a Result Overview will appear in the lower part of the map whenever a selection across multiple layers is executed. However, if only elements of one layer are selected, they will be directly displayed in the Layer Result.
