The WebOffice author WebMap menu provides the following functions for publishing your project directly into your ArcGIS Portal:

Save WebMap

By clicking the Button "Save WebMap", a dialogue for publishing a certain map view of the opened WebOffice 10.5 SP2 project appears. To publish a WebMap, a Portal connection has to be specified and the fields Title, Tags and Summary have to be infilled. Furthermore it is possible to save the WebMap in different directories of ArcGIS Portal.

Note: If MapTip is configured at certain layers, the respective information is provided in the WebMap in the form of PopUps.

 

Overwrite WebMap

The dialogue "Overwrite WebMap" lists all available WebMaps which are available via Portal. The user is able to specify which WebMap should be overwritten based on the project configuration. After the successful overwriting of the WebMap, a message appears in the status bar of WebOffice author.

Portal Connections

Via the dialogue "Portal Connections" it is possible to add or delete  Portal connections. To add a new Portal connection, click "Create account" in the upper right corner and specify username and password. To delete existing Portal connections, rightclick onto the related connection and click "Delete line". The user can choose a active Portal connection by clicking onto it.

Open Portal organisation

This button opens the Portal organisation site to log in at ArcGIS Portal and use the published map views directly in ArcGIS Portal or in ArcGIS Online for Story Maps, etc.

 

Note: When opening the ArcGIS Portal site, no password or username is transferred. The user has to login directly at the ArcGIS Portal site.
