With WebOffice 10.5 SP2 it is possible to display a Web Scene that is particularly useful to make 3D data available for visualization and analysis purposes. Web Scene is implemented as a custom tool in WebOffice 10.5 SP2 based on a Script API.

By clicking on the configured Web Scene button a window opens that takes the right half of the main map display. In addition, the ribbon and the control center is hidden to enlarge the main map display.

You can navigate in the Web Scene window by using the mouse and the navigation elements (1). There is also a drop down list available for choosing a specific scene (2). One further drop down list and a slider make it possible to make settings, how the chosen scene is influenced by the solar altitude and shadows at different seasons and times of the day (3).
