Filter

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Configure a Filter in order to enable user to dynamically filter specific object of one or several layers (e.g. show only properties of "first district" of layer "Cadaster"). By using filters it is easy to display only certian object classes or categories.

Note: Filters only work with layers of dynamic map services. Layers of cached map services cannot be filtered since they were already rendered into tiles.

Filter properties

Note: It is possible to configure more than one filter definition. Those filter definitions can be logically combined in the WebOffice 10.4 SP2 client by the user. Filter definitions can be combined with the logical OR operator.

Note: If you want to use filters together with the full-text search then you have to make sure to recalculate the subindex for the layer that is used for filtering. The resprective subindex wil be marked as "out of date" in Synadmin tab full-text search. Please see chapter Full-Text Search Tab for more details about recreating subindices.

Note: If a filter definition points on an attribute field with an Esri Domain then the respective domain attribute values will be displayed. The user can choose from one ore more domain values in the WebOffice 10.4 SP2 client. Combinations of domain attribute values of a layer will be combined with the logical OR operator.

Note: If WebOffice usermanagement is active then already existing attribute filters with one or many filter definitions will be combined using the logical AND operator.
