Project Validation
Project validation is used to analyze invalid or problematic project configurations.
Validation errors
The following categories of validation errors can be distinguished:
•Missing child
•General
•Unresolved reference
•Duplicate
•Map view
•Missing attribute
By clicking on the arrow in the Open column, you can jump to the node in which the validation error occurs.
Projects can only be saved once all validation errors have been fixed. If this is saved for existing validation errors, only a backup of the invalid project configuration is created.
Validation warnings
The following categories of validation warnings can be distinguished:
•Missing layer / table - if a layer or table is present in the project configuration, but not in the connected service/map document
•Missing field
•Missing shape field
•Missing language
•Missing index
By clicking on the arrow in the Open column, you can jump to the node in which the respective validation warning occurs.
Projects can also be saved and published with validation warnings, but it is recommended to fix them first.
