Configure the Export Map Image tool to copy a screenshot to the clipboard or MS Word. The resolution may be configured (not only screen resolution possible).

The Map Copy tool runs via Server Object Extension as soon as markups (e.g. with Measure/Markup tools) are included in the map; otherwise via standard ArcGIS Server.

It is now mandatory to create your own ArcGIS Server map export service as a sub node of this tool. The service will be used for map export in WebOffice 10.9 SP1 (otherwise handled by ArcGIS Server Output Service). The Map Export Service must provide a configured Server Object Extension for WebOffice.

Do high resolution export by default?

Specifies whether exports should use the high resolution defined in the parameter below or the default 96 DPI.

DPI number for high-resolution export

Resolution (in DPI) for Export in high resolution.

The value is usually a multiple of 96 (192 or 288). The low resolution export works with the resolution of the screen (96 DPI). An export with less than 96 DPI is not allowed.

Use tool?

Control if this tool is available in the WebOffice 10.9 SP1 clients or not.

In case you want to provide a high resolution export (DPI: 288), be sure that all services involved in the map export, have the necessary image dimension values configured.
