Analysis Options for Stops
When calculating a route, there are some additional options regarding the stops that can be taken into account, which have influence on the result. See this chapter for details about the following Analysis Options for Stops in WebOffice 10.9 R4:
Reorder Stops to Find Optimal Route
A route passes through the stops in the defined order by default. But the route may be shortened by finding the optimum order with the Network Analyst. In case you activate this option, the route analysis will not work with the shortest route but on the basis of the traveling salesman problem (optimized circular trip).
Reorder stops to find optimal route configuration
Property |
Description |
---|---|
Reorder |
Reorder stops to find optimal route. If Yes, the solver should re-sequence the route in the optimal order. This is known as solving the traveling salesman problem. The default is as defined in the network layer. |
User decides (GUI) |
Displaying a control in the GUI (checkbox). The user can make the decision whether this option will be applied or not. |
Default value (GUI) |
Default value to determine when a control in the GUI will be displayed. |
Reorder stops to find optimal route properties
Preserve First Stop
You can preserve the first stop and reorder the stops that are located inbetween with the Network Analyst.
Preserve first stop configuration
Property |
Description |
---|---|
Preserve first stop |
If Yes the solver should keep the first stop fixed in the sequence. The default is as defined in the network layer. |
User decides (GUI) |
Displaying a control in the GUI (checkbox). The user can make the decision whether this option will be applied or not. |
Default value (GUI) |
Default value to determine when a control in the GUI will be displayed. |
Preserve first stop properties
Preserve Last Stop
You can preserve the last stop and reorder the stops that are located inbetween with the Network Analyst.
Preserve last stop configuration
Property |
Description |
---|---|
Preserve last stop |
If Yes the solver should keep the last stop fixed in the sequence. The default is as defined in the network layer. |
User decides (GUI) |
Displaying a control in the GUI (checkbox). The user can make the decision whether this option will be applied or not. |
Default value (GUI) |
Default value to determine when a control in the GUI will be displayed. |
Preserve last stop properties
Return to the First Stop
You may let the calculated route return to the first stop (first stop = last stop).
Return to the first stop configuration
Property |
Description |
---|---|
Return to first stop |
Determines if the route should come back to the starting point or not. |
User decides (GUI) |
Displaying a control in the GUI (checkbox). The user can make the decision whether this option will be applied or not. |
Default value (GUI) |
Default value to determine when a control in the GUI will be displayed. |
Return to the first stop properties
See chapter Routing for details about the use of analysis options for stops in the WebOffice core client. |
