Create a New Virtual Directory

UserManagement Admin Web for WebOffice is a ASP.NET-solution and is provided by a ZIP-archive, which has to be unpacked into a manually created virtual directory in Internet Informations Services (IIS) Manager.

 

The easiest way to open Internet Informations Services (IIS) Manager is to press Start and enter iis int the search field.

Next a new virtual directory named UserManagement Admin Web has to be created. Open the context menu with a right click on Default Web Site and start the Virtual Directory Creation Wizard by a click on Add Virtual Directory

Set UserManagement Admin Web as alias of the virtual directory.

Next, the path to the directory which will contain the files of UserManagement Admin Web has to be defined. Start with a click on the -button. Navigate to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ and click on Make New Folder to create a new folder named UserManagementAdminWeb.

The correct physical path reads as follows C:\inetpub\wwwroot\UserManagementAdminWeb.
