Adjust Project Configuration
This chapter shows how to adjust the project configuration of the sample project.
The project configuration WebOffice_SampleProject.xml can be found on the DVD in WebOffice10.9R4-DVD\SampleProject\Project\.
Copy the project configuration WebOffice_SampleProject.xml from the DVD to your work directory of the WebOffice 10.9 R4 application:
<Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<WebOffice application>\WEB-INF\classes\configuration\projects.
Copy the folder SampleProjectPub from the DVD to your pub directory of the WebOffice 10.9 R4 application:
<Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<WebOffice application>\pub.
WebOffice application - working directory
Open the MXD SampleProject.mxd from your ServiceDocuments directory (e.g. <ArcGIS Server location>\directories\ServiceDocuments\SampleProject) and load the project configuration WebOffice_SampleProject.xml with WebOffice author standalone.
WebOffice author standalone - load the project configuration
When opening the project configuration for the first time, you will get a warning regarding the matching of active data frame and the name of the map service. This occurs due to the fact that ArcGIS Server connections are not adapted so far. Therefore, ignore this message! |
Next step is to adjust the ArcGIS Server Map Service Connections. Therefore, go to Staging > Map Service Connections in order to adapt the server names, potential subfolder names, the service user and password of the map services for your publisher account. Select the desired connections.
Change server map service connections
By checking the desired connections, a mask opens in the lower area of the WebOffice author standalone. There, adjust the server name, the publisher user and the password.
In fact for consuming the ArcGIS Server services a user account will also work. |
Adapt the server name, the user and password of the ArcGIS map services
In addition to the traditional map services of the Map Collection, this action also adapts the connections of the print and geometry service to your WebOffice 10.9 R4 project configuration. Finally, save the changes in the project configuration file by clicking on the Save project symbol.
