Use the Maps wizard to create, modify or delete services. Use this wizard especially then, if you want to remove a service from your WebOffice usermanagement database that is outdated. Services usually are created automatically in the UMDB when synchronizing the base data via WebOffice author standalone.

A service that you want to delete must not be referenced in any Project in the WebOffice usermanagement database.

When deleting a service from the WebOffice usermanagement database, all layers of this service will also be deleted automatically.

When modifying an existing map, first select one.

In the next step you will get details about the name and the description of the selected service. You may change these details if necessary. Pay attention to the service name nomenclature:

<type of service>|<arcgis server user>@<service URL>[|type of arcgis service]

Example 1: ArcGIS Server map service accessed with publisher account

rest|publisher@http://w-ws-wintner:6080/arcgis/sampleproject/sampleproject_cadaster|mapserver

Example 2: ArcGIS Server feature service without a specified user

rest|null@http://w-ws-wintner:6080/arcgis/sampleproject/sampleproject_editing_fs|featureserver

The arcgis server service URL that is saved into the WebOffice usermanagement database differs slightly from the actual ArcGIS Server Service REST-URL shown below:

Example 3: WMTS service "basemap.at"

wmts|http://www.basemap.at/wmts/1.0.0/wmtscapabilities-arcmap.xml
