MapTip
MapTip tool in the WebOffice html client
The MapTip tool enables users to retrieve information by just moving the mouse over objects in the map. Depending on the project configuration it can be activated with project start or manually. With the drop-down menu right of the button the user can specify the matter of interest to a single layer.
Choose between all visible and specific layers for MapTip
Note: Provide a better overview about layers available for MapTip by configuring layer categories (like in the figure below). See chapter List of Layer Categories for details.
Note: If a polygon is fully overlapped by another polygon of the same layer, the smaller one is going to be selected for the maptip.

In case the cursor is located above an identifiable object, MapTip is able to
•provide direct access to Images related to the object
•provide direct access to a Neighbor Search
•provide direct access to External Applications related to the object
•provide direct access for generating a WebOffice ePaper report
•add the identified object to the current selection set in the Search result.

Only available if ePaper is configured. Click to generate a WebOffice ePaper report. |

Pin and delete MapTip |
Click once to pin the MapTip window, otherwise it will disappear after a while. Click a second time to delete the window. |
MapTip buttons
If more than one image is linked to an object, the user can switch between the single pictures like in a photo gallery. The order of the pictures is determined by the order in the configuration of the result field list (from top down).
