Basic Settings

After starting WebOffice author the buttons Basic settings, Working directory, Project language... for selection. There, the connection to the user management database must be established. The following steps must be performed:

(1) Activate Use User Management

(2) Select database type. You can choose from Microsoft Access, MS SL Server and Oracle.

(3) Define the connection parameters for the database. In the example, the path to Datenbank1.mdb is defined.

 

With these settings, the WebOffice author synchronizes with User Management. With Test DB connection the successful setup can be checked.
