Set Up Export

The WebOffice export application must be recorded in User Management. For this purpose, you must follow the wizard for setting up a new application:

For the name you MUST enter WebOffice export.

In Step 2, you must define the application rights. The application rights are available in WebOffice export for formats which are available for export. The following entries are possible:

In the last step, a summary of the settings is displayed.

By clicking on Finish, the changes in the database are saved.

 

In addition, at least one application role needs to be defined. The application role controls which export formats are available for the role. Follow the wizard for setting up an application role.

In the first step, the name of the application role (e.g. Export data) and the application (WebOffice export) to which the role belongs, need to be defined.

Now, the application rights of the role need to be defined.

The rights are selected by marking one or more rights and clicking on the arrow on the right side.

 

Thus, you can define, for instances, roles which can be exported only in CAD format or in GIS format.

In the last step, a summary of the settings is displayed.

 

By clicking on Finish, the changes in the database are saved.

 

Application profiles are assigned to application roles. Thus, for instance, the application profile Editing, which is generated by default, can be assigned to the application role Export data. Follow the wizard for processing the application profiles.

Select the application profile Editing (standard).

Where appropriate, change the name and description of the application profile and click directly on Next.

Select the application role Export data, so that it is displayed on the right side.

By clicking on Finish, the changes in the database are saved.

 

If the application profile is assigned to a group, then all the export configurations from the configuration path, namely the export profiles which have been defined in VertiGIS WebOffice author (see chapter 3.2.8), are available for that group.
