A layer is the basis for creating a new ePaper template and for generating an ePaper report on basis of an existing template.

Prior to create a new ePaper template, the ArcGIS layer for which the template is created, should be prepared. Possible preparation steps can be:

•Joining

•Relating

•Adapting the alias

After preparing the layer, select it in the Table of Contents, to ensure that the ePaper template is created for the correct layer. In case no layer has been selected in the Table of Contents, following message appears:
