For every feature map a north arrow should be displayed. The north arrow is inserted by dragging and dropping the north arrow icon from the tools on the left side. Befor you define the settings of the north arrow, it is advantageous to define the size of the north arrow rectangle by changing it with the mouse. For instance, define the size of the north arrow rectangles with a length of 2 cm and a width of 1.6 cm.

 

With a double click on the scale value, the properties of the North Arrow open. The following properties are set:
