A feature map represents a selected feature in a data band. It is used in combination with a data band, and is not inserted directly into the page – you have to use a data band. Usually, a feature map is inserted into the feature map data band, but can also be inserted in the master data. So it is possible to display one feature per record. More than one feature map can be part of a data band.

 

A double click on the inserted map opens the properties of the feature map.
