The quality of an ePaper report strongly depends on the design. Even though the report may contain all the content and data which are needed, great results can be achieved by optimizing the layout of the report.

 

Here are some guidelines which helps you to optimize your report:

 

1.Always try to integrate the company’s CI into the report

oFind the correct color code of your company CI, e.g. http://html-color-codes.info/colors-from-image/

oStick to these colors when defining the font color, border colors of tables, etc.

oIf more colors are needed, use, for instance, this website to find matching colors: e.g. http://paletton.com/

2.Use the full size of the page

3.Always use the same alignment and identical styles in your report - don't mix them.

oe.g.: Always align data and table headers and headings the same way. Align table content left/right

oUse only two different font types. Vary them in size if you need to differentiate them.

4.For table layouts you can look for the templates in MS Office tables and copy them in the ePaper designer

5.You can use colored background elements to brighten the report.
