WebOffice 10.9 R4 allows the storage of unique key values with an associated edit field. If WebOffice 10.9 R4 is used as a lead in a dual application scenario for the creation of new objects it is possible to create unique IDs which can be stored trough the different available edit actions in the database and can be used for the identification between the two applications (f.e. in combination with VertiGIS FM).

Therefore the creation of a unique ID through the different editing actions of WebOffice 10.9 R4 is fulfilled and can be used as an unique ID via the different applications.

The GUID field must be of type Text with a minimum length of 40 characters, otherwise the editing topic will not appear in WebOffice 10.9 R4.

The edit action Create generates a new GUID value if not value is existing in the target field.

The edit actions Copy, Copy from and Copy from Template generate a new GUID for newly created objects.

The edit actions Split, Explode Multipart, Merge, Multipart generate new GUID for all affected features if the field is configured.

All other editing operations are not affected with the creation of new GUID elements.
