HTTP Client Settings

The HTTP Client Settings are an optional configuration element for the full-text search. If it is not configured, WebOffice 10.9 R4 will use the default values as shown in the figure below.

Property

Description

Connection Timeout (ms)

The time to establish the connection with the remote host.

Socket Timeout (ms)

The time waiting for data – after the connection was established; maximum time of inactivity between two data packets.

Connection Manager Timeout (ms)

The time to wait for a connection from the connection manager (pool).

Maximum connections per route (host)

Maximum number of connections to a particular host. If the client attempts to make a request and the maximum has been reached, then by default the client will block until a connection is free.

Maximum total connections

Maximum total number of connections in the pool. If the client attempts to make a request and the maximum has been reached, then by default the client will block until a connection is free.
