Server-Side Requirements
The working memory (RAM = Random Access Memory) should be set as follows if possible: 0.5 GB + size of the search index. The size of the index can be viewed on the Solr Admin UI main page, in the "WebOffice" area (see image below). In this way, the entire search index can be loaded into the working memory at once.

Troubleshooting
If the CPU on the WebOffice FTS-Index host stagnates at 99% for a long time, this is often a symptom that it has been allocated too little memory.

The WebOffice FTS-Index should have enough free hard disc space at all times, twice the size of the search index!
The search index is temporarily duplicated during reindexing and optimisation processes. There must be room for these load peaks! |
