WebOffice Full-Text Search (Administrative Computer)
It is possible to use an index full text search in multiple layers of your WebOffice 10.9 R4 project. Technically it is based on the full text search index on the Solr-Framework. Solr is a popular and fast Open Source Enterprise Search Platform, based on Apache Lucene™ technology.
Please find more technical information on the Website of Apache Solr. WebOffice FTS-Index in WebOffice 10.9 R4 uses the most recent 9.6.1. |
The full text search on Table (JDBC) is currently not yet supported. |
It does not make a difference for the functionality of the full text search in WebOffice 10.9 R4, if WebOffice FTS-Index is installed as a WebContainer in Apache, aStand-Alone Solr Installation or as a SolrCloud with LoadBalancing.
For WebOffice 10.9 R4 Stand-Alone Solr or SolrCloud with LoadBalancing is intended.
CAUTION! WebOffice FTS-Index as a WebContainer in Apache will not be supported in WebOffice 10.9 R4 anymore. It is however possible to use the modern WebOffice FTS-Index (Solr Version 7.x, d.h. Solr Stand-Alone oder SolrCloud) in an older WebOffice version. |
See chapter Problems Related to Full-Text Search if problems occur regarding the full-text search. |
