UserManagement Staging with WebOffice author
If the UMDB (UserManagement Database) is to be transferred from the pre-production server to the production server, the following steps must be performed:

A prerequisite for taking the UMDB live is that it does not contain any data garbage on the pre-production server. For more details see Clean up UM-DB. |
Step 1
On the production server, open the respective production profile in WebOffice author.

Under Tools > UserManagementDatabase select the UMDB Productive Set!
•Select staging profile (always the one from pre-production)
•Select production profile (always the one from the production server)
Change all entries with URLs of the pre-production on the right side to the production links. After clicking OK, select a directory where a backup dump will be saved as a backup of the production profile.
The application profile from the pre-production server is selected as the staging profile (left side) - that from the production server as the production profile (right side). In addition, the URLs must be adapted to those of the production server (right side).
