It is possible to customize messages and descriptions in the WebOffice core client. You can change those messages with WebOffice author in Extras - WebOffice messages in different languages. The texts will be saved for WebOffice html and WebOffice core client in different files. You can find the changes for the WebOffice core client in C:\Tomcat\webapps\<WebOffice Applikation>\client_core\jss\language_weboffice_<language>.xml.

The changes will remain after installing a service pack or a patch.

 

 

 

 

When having left the page in the browser the WebOffice core client has showed a message by default. The same behaviour occurred when having changed the language in the WebOffice 10.9 R4 project.

You can suppress those messages in the WebOffice core client by adjusting the file language_weboffice_user.xml in C:\Tomcat\webapps\<WebOffice Applikation>\client_core\jss\language_weboffice_user.xml.

 

 

 

In the file language_weboffice_user.xml there is the key (e.g. <locale key="en"> for English) for all languages. To suppress the message in the client please replace the entry in WebOffice message (Key WEBOFFICE.MESSAGE.EXIT) with a blank.

 

Please consider, that the entry <record jsxid="WEBOFFICE.MESSAGE.EXIT jstext=""/> has to be done in every single language.
